Contained
within earth banks 5 Kms each side with a 3 km long reservoir as
part of the site, this vast temple complex covering 25 square
Kms, was the largest (in area) of all the Khmer Temple sites.
The size is truly staggering; yet due to difficulty of access,
very few people outside of local villagers and a few dedicated
explorers and motor bike riders have ever seen it.
It
is currently one of the most difficult of all the big temple
sites to get to and can only be visited for a limited time in
the dry season.
We include Preah Vihear temple on
the Thai Border and the 10th Century ruins of Sambor Pre Kuk.
The tour is flexible so we can
change itineraries to suit your group.
